These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Satia mobile application ("Satia," "the app," "we," "us," or "our"), published by Alifba LTD ("Alifba"), a company registered in the United Kingdom. By downloading, accessing, or using Satia, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Satia is intended for users aged 13 and over. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
Satia is a wellness and nutrition companion app that provides general, non-personalized suggestions for making meals more satisfying, based on an "add, don't cut" approach to eating. Satia is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and is not a substitute for professional advice from a doctor, registered dietitian, or other qualified healthcare provider.
If you have a medical condition, food allergy, or health concern, consult a qualified professional before making changes to your diet based on suggestions from the app. You are solely responsible for verifying that any food or ingredient suggested by Satia is safe for you, including in relation to allergies you have disclosed to the app.
Satia uses artificial intelligence (via Google's Gemini API) to generate meal and menu suggestions based on text or photos you provide. AI-generated suggestions may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your specific needs. You should use your own judgment before acting on any suggestion, particularly with respect to food allergies or dietary restrictions.
Satia offers optional premium features through an auto-renewing subscription, which may include a free trial period. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and are subject to their respective payment terms.

The Satia app, including its design, branding, and original content, is the property of Alifba LTD and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Content you submit (such as photos or meal descriptions) remains yours, but by submitting it you grant us a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing the app's features to you.
Satia relies on third-party services, including Firebase, Google Gemini API, RevenueCat, PostHog, Google Sign-In, and Apple Sign-In, to operate. Your use of Satia is also subject to the applicable terms of these providers where relevant.
Satia is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that suggestions provided will be accurate or suitable for your individual needs.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alifba LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Satia — including any adverse reaction to food suggested by the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
We may update these Terms from time to time, and may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app at our discretion. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will notify you through the app or by other reasonable means. Continued use of Satia after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Satia shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
